Here is a typical scenario: You are scrolling LinkedIn on your commute (or, let's be honest, in bed). You see the perfect job opening. It was posted 30 minutes ago.

You want to apply. But your resume is trapped on your laptop, buried in a folder called "Old Stuff," and it needs updating. You think, "I'll do it when I get home."

By the time you get home, 200 other people have applied. You missed the window.

At Magic Resume, we believe your career tools should be as mobile as you are.

The Problem with "Mobile Friendly"

Most resume builders claim to be "mobile friendly." What they actually mean is they shrunk their desktop site down to a tiny, unreadable mess.

You have to pinch-to-zoom. You have to tap tiny buttons. You try to drag a text box and the whole page scrolls. It is a nightmare.

The Magic Difference: Native PWA

We built Magic Resume as a Progressive Web App (PWA). This means it lives in your browser (Safari/Chrome) but behaves like a native app.

1. Touch-First Interface

We didn't just shrink the buttons; we redesigned them for thumbs. Our "Swipe to Browse" template picker feels like Instagram. Our editor uses large, tap-friendly touch targets.

2. The "No Download" Advantage

You don't need to go to the App Store. You don't need to download a 100MB update. You just go to the URL, log in, and your entire career history is there.

Seamless Handoff

Start editing on your phone during your lunch break. Hit save. Open your laptop when you get home, and pick up exactly where you left off. The cloud sync is instant.

3. PDF Generation on the Fly

The hardest part of mobile resume building is the export. Most phones struggle to render complex PDFs.

We use server-side rendering (Puppeteer) in the cloud. When you hit "Download" on your iPhone, we generate the PDF on our powerful servers and send you the finished file. It renders perfectly, with crisp fonts and exact margins, ready to be uploaded to LinkedIn or emailed directly to a recruiter.

The Use Case: The 5-Minute Sprint

Imagine this new workflow:

Total time: 5 minutes. No laptop. No friction.
