1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using Magic Resume, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Magic Resume
Magic Resume is an AI-assisted career-document service. It can organize a Career Profile, enhance an existing resume, tailor a resume to a specific role, evaluate application strength, and—when included with an active Pro entitlement—create supporting Application Kit materials.
3. Accounts and Sign in with Apple
You must be at least 16 years old to use Magic Resume. You must provide accurate account information and safeguard access to your device and account. Sign in with Apple may provide Magic Resume with an Apple identifier and, when you choose to share them, your name or email address. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
4. Your Source Information
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, lawfulness, and permissions associated with resumes, Career Profile facts, screenshots, job postings, URLs, and other content you submit. Do not submit confidential information that you are not authorized to use. Review generated materials before relying on or sending them.
5. AI-Assisted Content
Magic Resume uses automated systems, including generative AI, to analyze source material and draft content. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Magic Resume is designed to ground career claims in your supplied information, but you must verify every statement and make the final decision about what to use.
6. No Employment Guarantee
Magic Resume does not provide recruiting, legal, financial, or professional employment advice and does not guarantee interviews, employment, compensation, applicant-tracking-system performance, or any other outcome.
7. Free Plan
The Free plan includes the Basic resume design and permits one successfully completed resume across Enhance Resume and Build a Specific Role Resume during any rolling 24-hour period. Failed, canceled, and aborted generations do not count as successful use. A Free Specific Role generation provides the tailored resume and applicable scores/results, but not the Pro Application Kit deliverables or email-document delivery.
8. Magic Resume Pro
During an active Pro period, all six curated customer resume designs are available, successful resume generations are not subject to the Free rolling-24-hour limit, and the current Specific Role Application Kit may include a cover letter, recruiter message, interview questions, application/packet report, company dossier, combined package, and email-document delivery. Enhance Resume retains its current resume-focused behavior. Features may evolve under Section 16.
9. One-Time Welcome Pro
An eligible account may receive one non-recurring 24-hour Welcome Pro period. Welcome Pro provides the same product access as paid Pro while active. It does not renew or charge you. Reinstalling the app does not restart the offer. To prevent repeated redemption after account deletion and recreation, Magic Resume retains only a pseudonymous hash-based eligibility marker associated with the Apple sign-in identifier, as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Apple In-App Purchases
Current paid Pro options are non-renewing 7-day and 30-day access products. Apple processes purchases and displays the localized price and currency. Access begins after a verified App Store transaction and ends at the displayed expiration time. Use Restore Purchases to reconcile eligible purchases associated with your Apple account. These products do not automatically renew unless the product presentation and Apple purchase sheet expressly say otherwise.
11. Refunds and Billing Questions
Apple controls App Store billing, charge handling, and refund decisions. Request any refund through Apple. Magic Resume cannot override Apple’s decision. Contact support@magicresume.work for product-access or transaction-reconciliation help; support cannot issue an App Store refund directly.
12. Your Content and Limited License
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Magic Resume a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transform, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service as actually implemented. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited records described in the Privacy Policy or temporary backups and logs that expire under normal retention processes.
13. Acceptable Use
You may not use Magic Resume to violate law or another person’s rights; impersonate another person; submit malware; probe or disrupt the service; bypass access, quota, or entitlement controls; automate abusive traffic; reverse engineer protected service components where prohibited; or create deceptive, fraudulent, discriminatory, or harmful application materials.
14. Intellectual Property
Magic Resume and its software, visual design, templates, trademarks, and service content—excluding your content and third-party materials—are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only a limited personal right to use the service during authorized access.
15. Third-Party Services
The service depends on third parties including Apple and Amazon Web Services. Job links or research sources may lead to third-party sites. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services, and Magic Resume does not control their content or availability.
16. Availability and Changes
Features may be corrected, changed, suspended, or discontinued to improve quality, security, legal compliance, or product operation. We will not retroactively shorten an already verified paid access period solely because product packaging changes. Service interruptions and processing delays may occur.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. Access may be limited or terminated for material violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirement, or prolonged service discontinuation. Termination does not remove rights or obligations that by their nature should survive.
18. Account Deletion
You can request deletion from Profile > Delete Account. Deletion removes the Career Profile, uploaded sources, generated resumes and Application Kits, tracker history, delivery-email profile, entitlement/account state, and application account linkage, subject to the limited retention disclosed in the Privacy Policy. Apple authorization is revoked when a valid revocation credential is available. Deletion cannot be undone and does not itself cancel, refund, or change an Apple transaction.
19. Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magic Resume is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or employment outcome. Rights that cannot lawfully be disclaimed remain unaffected.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Magic Resume and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, lost data, or decisions made from generated content. Any limitation applies only to the extent lawful and does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.
21. Your Responsibility for Misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims and losses caused by your unlawful use of the service, your violation of another person’s rights, or content you submit without authorization. This provision does not require you to indemnify Magic Resume for its own unlawful conduct.
22. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, please contact support so the issue can be evaluated informally. These Terms do not add mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver. Mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live remain available.
23. Changes to These Terms
Material changes will be reflected by a new version or Last Updated date and, when appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
